i got the details
Download Daemon Tools.
Download Starcraft.iso files
Download BroodWar.iso files
open Deamon Tools
mount Starcraft.iso files
install the game
click my computer
click the Deamon drive and open folder of Virtual CD ROM
copy the INSTAL.EXE file
go into your starcraft folder(found in Drive C >> programs and settings >> Starcraft)
paste the INSTALL.EXE into the game folder
after its pasted, RENAME the INSTAL.EXE file to Starcraft.mpq
it’ll ask you if you want to change the type of file, CLICK YES
Unmount the Original from Deamon tools
VOILA it sould RUN without a CD

for the Brood war expansion, do the same thing. just rename the INSTALL.EXE into BroodWar.mpq

To Get the game to play without a cd Download “Virtual Clone Drive” Then you will need to use VCD to make the cd into an ISO file. Then you can use the Iso file work as a disk.
Worked for me, thanks! although the account is muted it works. btw, the cd key changer is for an old version of SC and doesn’t work with the new one? I didn’t try it but I suppose this to be the case.

I’ve been entering these codes for like 30 min now I actually have a copy of the game but is says that someone else registered it and I have requested a new one but no response so I guess I will just have to keep going on this.

Play SCBW without downloading the iso, download monikon’s scbw, 93mb, it takes out all the single player stuff, leaves in multiplayer, compresses the file down to 93mb and you can simply double click Sc to play it once installed.
